I am sure it has been asked a lot. how do you know to change the rubber on your squeegee? I understand that it will round out from use but how long on average? I hear a lot of different soaps to use, unger tabs, dawn & g something.
Soap is a matter of personal preference (GG4:D) and I think Alex may have done a video on squeegee blade replacement. In Johhny Orsini’s e-book on window cleaning he has a good section (w/ pics) on changing squeegee rubber. As for how long it depends on how much work you’re doing. I change mine when I notice I am leaving larger areas of water on the edge of the glass that have to be detailed.
