hi,im in england , i use a Quickie squeegee, it has rubber with a groove in the edge and is Very good. but i cant seem to find replacement of exactly the same. Does anybody know a make of easily obtainable rubber with a thin groove in the edge??
hey,ur helpful…not!
Ive never heard of it… Do you have a picture of it?
my guess is that i will resort to just the ordinary rubber as nobody has heard of this Quickie squeegee rubber ,or anything like it ,with a full length water groove. its a pity as it really worked better, quicker. exactly as a twin blade razor is far superior to a single blade razor.
i notice Quickie have their HQ in new jersey. not that that helps me,in England !!!
Here are detailed instructions on how to post pictures:

Its very simple.
the QUICKIE is in the foreground , and an Ettore is behind ,to compare. both are soft rubber
did u get any further with Quickie? chris
Not yet but it is on my to due list.
My latest gossip regarding the "Quickie "design of squeegee rubber . A woman that works for the U.K. distributors for Quickie has made enquiries on my behalf.Far as i can tell theyve now got 2 different designs of the profile, each has a groove in the leading edge. Some of their designs have been sent over from the States .She has posted me one or 2 ,to try out .Keep you posted Chris
chris - did you get anywhere with Quickie in new jersey? i can buy the quickie rubber here but its only in small amounts and is a tad pricey
this is the quickie iv been buying lately
Here below is a photo of a squeegee that jonnyald was pertaining to. Professional window cleaners use something more high end though. That one in the pic is for home use only.
no , thats NOT the one on sale here in england . here is a picture of the rubber and actually its only the rubber that is special. They sell a plastic swivel squeegee with a yellow quick release ,and various stainless steel squeegees here
it seems that the Quickie stuff sold here in England differs from the American range . Which seems strange because Quickie are an American company,in New Jersey .
Actually ive given up on trying to get any of the rubber now ,although its twin edge design was good
Hey Johnny,
