you should change your resolution, Make your template wider, it looks like 800pix wide right now, you should make it like 1019 or 1024 pix wide…
I like it Shawn!
Looks great!
I like it, but I’d go with a solid color background, or maybe a gradient. That bg shows tiled and looks awful, bringing down the whole website, which layout is very nice.
Just an opinion.
Thanks for your input…
Better now?
Shawn, I like the website, but right now I am sick to death of WFP’s - I’m nearly ready to throw my whole system off a cliff.
Tough day in the salt mines Steve?
We have yet to find a job that this equipment has saved us time or made us money.
Like i told everybody who bought a wfp system, the poles only will save you time if you do 3 stories or higher, or if you do Monthly accounts.
But it is better to use a wfp pole when you break your leg in a motorcycle accident…LOL
Oh and break your collar bone in 3 spots too.
Hey Steve,
Where are you located?
Hmm. We push WFP as much as possible. Just about all residential is done this way now. And I’ve gotten to the point where about 50% of my commercial route work is done this way. The only adjustment we had to make on the commercial side is to get an earlier start. We don’t want to have water dripping down the entrance when the stores are open. But I really do believe with the right setup, some practice and asking for help from WFP experts (Shawn) it really can save you time and money.
Steve, if you do at least ONE house a week with french windows, the WFP is worth just for that.
I honestly believe that you made a mistake getting the whole ro/di system right away, you should have tried with a rental tank and small pole to see if you’ll be saving any time or money with WFP jobs, or maybe getting bigger (higher) jobs. I might be wrong since all I’m saying here is based on facts taken from some of your previous posts, and from following your youTube videos.
Don’t get too frustrated, is tough sometimes, but it takes time and practice to learn to love that apparatus - I don’t use mine everyday because I’m renting a tank and it gets costly overtime, that’s why I really need to get me one of those ro/di systems, but cannot afford it right now.
Shawn, sorry for the thread-jacking
Background is fixed now, but I’d do a solid color anyway.
I’m using Mozilla by the way, didn’t test with IE.
I edited this because this thread is about Shawn’s website. Sorry
Steve,
Where are you located?
I sent you a PM
Thanks Steve.
Steve,
I agree with Mr. Star Brite. WFP’s are a brilliant tool, and we save lots of time and earn more cash because of ours. We also use them on homes with newer french panes - they cut time easily by 1/3.
What kind of accounts have you been using them to do?
Residential-2 story homes, and a few commercial accounts.
For the most part-new vinyl windows.
