Gutter Zap available here on WCR.
Whats a vinyl ceiling panel look like? I’m not sure I know what one is.
What kind of stain is on it? Is the vinyl painted?
Check them out, or if you have access to a steam cleaner that’ll do it.
If you’re interested I have a case of that solution that I ordered planning on offer this service to a particular customer but that never happened.
yes to chem and vap-steamer !! u can rent a vap -steamer but for the bang for the buck will be low !! at least it will be clean for painting. i have a vap-steamer for gum and grout cleaning and it would do it!! but on the ceiling mite be a clean spot and such. unless you wanted to get into the ceiling thing. big investent !!! this might be good side line !! i’ve looked at this over the years. this is how i got into awning cleaning and sealing. i looked up and saw a diry awning and a clean window. then i looked down and saw gum !! kinda funny how a person gets indifferet side lines !! for sure !! i would try renting a vap-steamer. let us now how it turns out. like befor and after pic. hope this helps !! stan
Hey All,
They are Vinyl Fabricated white 2x4 panels. And the stains are from the kitchen exhaust and stuff like that. Steam cleaning them would be about a 5 day event!! I am lookig more for a chemical that I can spry on. And it can’t affect the Fire Rating of the Panels. That’s one of the biggest issues I have found. Because they ar in a food prep area they can not be painted. There are companies that do it with a peroxide based chemical but they won’t give me the name of what they use.No big suprise there!! Just wondering if anyone had done this before. Thanks for all the advice!!

I am going to order a sample of the Absolute solution and treat a panel in one of my customers restaurants. If it works well i will definately take that case off your hands!!
Thanks so much for the info!!!

anytime.
that solution is awesome for porous materials, like regular drop ceiling tiles too.
i know the vap-steamer will work !! silmer process!! mine is top of the line. chem and vack or about 3000+ generlly they want to do this erery 100 years or so !! ha !! the sq feet probally is’t much but lots of nooks and cranys !! i done a some of this and they just want a miricle at rock bottom prices !! then you have a half ass job !!oh we can’t aford cleaning. go a couple weeks and they replace it all !!yea !! i’m a little jaded on this !! since its in the back room they don’t feel it’s all that big of deal. you can use a pump up sprayer for this. one with a tip brass to conrol the flow. i just can’t see day lite on this process. looks good but can you make a buck or so ??? this should be done every 90 days or so. just like windows !!! twice of month !! windows !! you’ll get a handel on this next week when you talk to them on prices’ !! good luck !!keep us up dated. stan
