That pic is exactly why I only used the platforms that are made for the scaffolding. Plus they don’t flex like a 2x12 does.
The plank that broke into must have been a plank that had knots in it. Like Tony, I would only use a platform intended to be used with scaffolding.
But if you’re gonna use wood, don’t use a plank that has knots in it.

You might check out this site. Final touch inc. They can go in a single door !! I think the floor thing can be done with ply board. I think the rental is like 700 to 800 or so. But a person could do a lot of work with out going up and down so much !! Would 90 ft get it ?? I think they had one that would go to 110 ft >>>>??? Up so far and in 20 ft !!! Ya !! Check it out !!
