Should I pay for these damages?

Sorry to hear about that Tory. As a former floor installer, we worked in occupied homes most of the time, and had to jockey furniture back and forth…Don’t miss those days! I carry (4 pieces) of 1/4 inch masonite that are cut: 1ft wide x 4ft long. That way you have plenty of room to slide the piece away from the window. You can also use those plastic skids that the box stores sell, but the furniture literally glides over masonite. It’s sold in 4x8 sheets and most building supply stores stock it.

Yikes, yeah you have to do something to satisfy here.

As for the ‘mom’ scratching the floor too. It has nothing
to do with anything. What if your truck had a bunch of
dents. If someone cracks into you should they be able
to tell you “but you already have a buncha dents”

They can choose to forgive mom. We do not have that
luxury.

What is funiture slider and what do they look like? Where do you get them and is that what they are called.

Lotasa different configurations. Here’s one example: [ame=Amazon.com]Amazon.com: Moving Men 8-Piece Furniture Slider Set: Kitchen & Dining[/ame]

I purchased my furniture sliders at Home Depot. They are plastic discs that slide easily on carpet while securing the furniture with a soft foam pad. They also have elastic cloth covers for hardwood (at least mine do.)

I don’t think there’s a home store or hardware store that doesn’t carry them. – even WalMart! One would have to try real hard not to find any.

Cool thanks.
