Yes it a good idea if your weakness is “sales.”

Sales is the life line for your business, you succeed or fail as a result of being able to sale or not.

Great Post!

Yes

Egh I don’t think so - it would be messy

Yes

Thanks for the reply @Chris. I agree that having the owner as a field tech would be difficult.

Any way you can elaborate a bit on the others?

For it to work you have to have your hands in the business operations. ( It would be tough to do that from the field )

In the office, your time could be spent on Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance. If you don’t like sales hire a phone person to answer inbounds and book customers. When they are not busy they make outbound calls ( sales )

That would leave you to run the business. Marketing plans, bookkeeping, planning, projecting, organizing " growing the business"

Although I can sell I don’t enjoy it so I know where you are coming from.

Thanks @Chris. Great reply; really appreciate it.

I was over your way meeting with @PArtusa last week, didn’t have time to stop in your shop unfortunately.

slight revision to the statement

“Sales are king”

I would say “Cash is king”. Cash is the blood to our business body.
