I am excited, I am very close to trying out my wfp for the first time. I have all my bits and pieces and tomorrow I am going to start putting it all together. I finally found a deal on a storage tank. Ran into a neighbor at the dump yesterday. He is an apiarist,(beekeeper), who just happens to have several 275 gal. ibc totes that he does not need. So $100 and I have a huge tank. I know its a little overkill, but it will do for now, maybe it will end up being storage at home with a smaller tank on the truck. And yes, I know, 275 gals, of water comes to 2296 lbs., should be fun.
I have my house and a couple of friends houses lined up for familiarizing myself with the wfp. The windows on one of the houses are really dirty. They have chickens, guinea hens, dogs, cats, and, horses, and the windows haven’t been cleaned in 5 years. Funny thing is, this house belongs to a friend of mine who has helped me clean windows before.:rolleyes:

By the way, I have checked the tds at 5 houses in my county now. Only one of them was over 100, at 107, the rest have all been 060 or lower. these are all typical rotary drilled wells with submersible pumps. Too bad I can’t rent a DI huh?
