I have been marketed to pretty intensely by a company called Solar Maid. They supposedly are the “Nike” of the solar panel cleaning world.
Has anyone purchased one of their territories? Their business packages are hella expensive IMO.
Thoughts?

Ive been doing alot of research on cleaning solar panels. As far as I can tell its like cleaning a window squgee or wfp. Look for exposed wires and cracked panela any type of damage. Ive found some site saying dont use soap and water theirs special solar panel cleaning soaps and Boost spray and rinse, but I really dont see a reason to buy any of these products. Since panels are on the rook and retain heat its best to do them in the morning or when they have cooled down. Some info I have read says they can crack due to extreem cool down. some sites say to cool down with warm water. This is going to be a huge add on for window cleaners in the future. We have just started advertizing for this service. Till getting prices and methods down. I really dont see ANY advantage to buy into solar maid unless they are teaching maintenance and repair which I assume would void any warrenty from the install company. I can see service and repair being an add on in the future but that is a whole nother business.
You’re not the only one…
I would like to know how you can clean these panels.
In my area, they are normally on a steep pitched roof, and it look as if you would have to pole them from a ladder if WFP isn’t available.
