I’ve noticed a lot of the metal screens can’t really be “cleaned” so they get a rag/brush just to clean webs or whatever weird stuff is on them. Screen cleaning is also done at each window, also over a drop cloth, how I clean them just depends on the condition of the screen and the best way for it.
If they’re old metal screens that I know won’t appear clean after a brush, or a wash I’ll just relay that to the customer so they don’t expect this brand new looking screen once everything is cleaned and out back together.
