Seth Fensterstock and I often team up when the situation warrants it to tackle jobs. I have found it to be a win/win situation for us everytime. I encourage all window cleaners to unite with your nearby (not too nearby though) neighbor and share shop talk, swap equipment on occasion and assist each other on gigs.
It has been a positive experience for Seth & I but I think it takes two open minded people to accomplish it with positive results. It is a good thing to have a friend nearby that can call on you when the **** hits the fan and likewise.
Here’s a few pics of some chandelier cleaning we did at the Governor’s Mansion today.
unfortunately my experience has never been good in situations like the one you described… hopefully the contacts and people i have met recently will change my views on that… you know who you are
