I have been lurking in the shadows for some time, reading and learning. I guess it is time to introduce myself and business. I got into the janitorial and window cleaning back in 95, in wyoming (boy it gets cold in the winter there) I wasnt doing windows at that time but the coldest it got while living there was -40. Thats a little on the chilly side, maybe a lite jacket with long sleeve T.
Anyway, worked several years at it for someone, then got into constuction, did roofing, tile for eight years, and hung sheetrock for about year (thats a good trade to say you got out of). Got back into again, then moved, and wife and I decided to start our own business where we landed. It will be 2 years in January! We offer commercial and residential cleaning, have 5 businesses that we clean, a dozen houses, window cleaning, gutter whitening, and pressure washing. I am very happy with how our business is doing, especially in such a short time, It helps that there is no other company (just individuals) that do any cleaning. I was worried because wasnt sure how business would be in a depressed area; they never got a big boom with the economy, so when things went bad, here wasnt really effected either. But, as long as places need to be cleaned, we will have work.
Shout out to thorSGI–I love stargate!!
Also, thanks Micah, that video you made on pressure washing a while back sold me on that setup, It has made a huge difference.
