Top 10 Most Commonly Asked Q's by a Customer or Potential Customer

Can you change one light bulb for me? and it turns out to be 20 bulbs. I always hate to hear “What kind of soap do you use?” which is then followed by “Do you make it yourself?” followed by “do you use paper towels or newspaper?” which is then followed by “do you use amonia or is that a speacial soap?”

I have one client she always insists that there is a spot in the upper right corner of every window. she also complains that her eyes are bad and she sees spots from time to time. Never puts them together. I spend more time touching up invisible spots than I do washing.

“how long have you been at this?”
“are you affraid of hights?”
“are you affraid dogs?” I normally get that one when they have the little toy dogs.

10 windows…“ar you the only one coming to do this?” followed up “Do you think you will be able to finish today”

“I will be back in 20 mins with a check for you” 20 mins = an hour

“Do you know how to take screens off?”

I will think of more as the day goes on I am sure of it.

 So true

A few of my questions from customers.

 1. How much per window?
 2. How long will it take?
 3. Are you insured?
 4. How long have you done this?
 5. Why don’t the other company answer their phones?

I just tell them to shut up – I’ll be the one asking the questions…

Heres a few I get quite often…

What if it rains the day you are coming?
How often should I have my windows cleaned"
When do I pay you? What forms of payment do you take?
What else do you do?
Can they clean my mirrors?
Do you offer any guarantee?
How many people will be coming?
Can they start in _______room first?
Do you work weekends?

Now in addition to all the questions that are listed, I think it would be a smart approach to try and answer many of those common questions while we are sitting down with the client talking about what they want done etc. I think people feel as though a business is much more valid if they answers their questions before they even have to open their mouth. Even yet the questions will keep coming, I am sure we all are convinced of that :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Thanks everyone for all your contribution to the thread!

That was cool that you made the final list. Good works and thanks for sharing it.

thanks for the list
+1

New customers that have never had their windows professionally clean always ask “how often should I have them cleaned?” I can always sell them on 2X a year!

I’m glad I could help out =]
