Nice! Looks clean. Do you have any other rangers? I’m looking into buying a truck. I already have a van and would like something more mobile that I can do some estimates or quick jobs with.

Larry, I knew you were a ford guy!

I have used a truck for 9 yrs. Currently a Tundra. I agree about the snow and my little giant getting filthy, but since I got a WFP system I haven’t used an extension ladder for a year. I use a small enclosed trailer that is lettered for my cart and such. I also like the idea of better resell value on a truck verses a van, but I have seen some nice vans.

Do most of you have a dedicated work vehicle? I am new but have an F-250. It’s also my daily driver. Can’t afford a dedicated vehicle at this time. How many of you use the vehice for everday use outside of the business?

We are going to be adding another vehicle to our force next year. I am thinking about going with the Toyota Tacoma Double Cab. This vehicle will be used primarily for window cleaning and gutter maintenance using a 3 man crew and 4 when necessary… We will be dedicating the Ford Ranger we have to power washing.

Do any of you use a Toyota truck in your day to day business? If so, what do you like or not like about the truck? http://www.toyota.com/img/vehicles/2012/tacoma/exterior360/double_cab/040/060.jpg

Noble,

We have two Toyota Tacoma’s, but they are the two door crew cab, and not the four door. Here is a pic: http://http://thewalkerservices.com/Contact-Us.php If you are going to have more than two people working in one, get the four door(like the one you have pictured). Not a whole lot of room in the crew cab for equipment and guys to sit.

But I cant ever see myself getting another type of truck. I love our Tacoma’s.

I really like the way you have the truck wrapped. Great looking company vehicle…

I love mine. Only downfall is there is not enough room for all my gear.

Art that is still the best looking rig in the window cleaning biz. I would love to see that same wrap on a Tundra when the Tacoma gets too small.

That’s why I love my Dodge Grand Caravan with stow and go seats out back.

Ha. One of my vehicles is a full size extended Chevy van and there still isn’t enough room for all the gear.

I love the vans. They are mobile billboards and great for advertising to neigbors of customers. I would recommend ford econoline vans. The gas is cheaper for a small trucks but there’s no better advertising than a 14 foot long mobile billboard which gets more attention jobs and money.
