True Value selling Ettore

I was at my local True Value hardware store the other other day. I noticed that the store is now selling brass Ettore squeegees. The squeegees were reasonably priced but what killed me was the store was charging $4.99 for one 18" Ettore rubber. Scandalous I tell you!

I have bought a few ettore supplies from true value and I think they are selling homeowner grade and not commercial/professional grade but I could be wrong!
You’re right Josh, they are way too expensive with there rubber which is why I just bought channels only. Has anyone else tried Ettore from Ace?

Shouldn’t you be buying Ettore from WCR?

Ya, Jerry. It’s only a 60 mile drive for you!

They deliver all the way to CA (in my case!)

Brass squeegees:eek:. Those things are like ankle weights. Switched to stainless 15 years ago and never looked back. Stainless is so much better on your wrist versus brass. Doesnt bend easy either if it gets dropped. Just my opionion.

Brass was used initially because it wouldn’t scratch glass. Not sure about Aluminium scratching glass - anyone tried? Because Brass is a soft maleable metal, it will bend when dropped. My brass squeegees are going green in the workshop
