Wagtail. Flipper or Combi

I’m upgrading my equipment and trying some new things. I like the wagtail but can’t make up my mind on which one. Any one use both and if so which is better? Or faster

Flipper. You can then experiment on towel on top vs bottom. Combi is bottom only.

Plus you can use the flipper handle with your other channels.

Ah good points there.

I have the combi and you can remove the blue strips and put them on the top…both the combi n the flipper can e used top n bottom… the diff is in the handle one is a top handle whikle the other is on the bottom… please let me now if im mistaken…thx billy

The strip can be put on top, but I can’t get it to flip up since the handle crimps the pad and prevents easy flip-up.

I like the flipper since I can slide my ettore channels into the handle.

Ah yes. That brings me to my second issue. My first poles, I like many other window starters bought my poles at Home Depot. They are Unger and work great but I really like the stutzy handles and I am not sure they will work on them. I do know that my pulex tbar does not work with my short ettore pole. It does with my unger though. I want to buy an ettore pro+ handle too. I’d just hate to buy all this mix and match stuff and it not work with my existing poles.

Im not sure what will work but…
You can talk to the guys at the WCR…at the shop a little window pops up and you can talk directly to them… they know their stuff…

Im also going to buy the flipper next…the slimline… cause i find with the combi when working with doors it cant pass threw those bars on some of those doors… here are some pics of my combi with the bars on top…

.

Yes they do. I appreciate all their help and support

I have both, the combi works great with the pad on the bottom and the flipper works great with the pad on the top.

I now use the PC handle with a stainless steel Ettore channel.

Does it get any better than the Flipper Slimline? That’s the only one I have, and I absolutely love it. I got a 12" and now I want to get an 18". I’m planning on getting another Slimline, but is the Combi worth trying out instead?

I like the Combi if I’m using it in my hand as a hand tool or over large windows to hit the top half. It works very well on interior work where you don’t have to close out on a sill.

I have the 14" and its great, just like any tool it has a time and place that’s it’s best suited at.

Loving the Slimline. Pretty much the only squeegee I use now.

I’ve already got it in my shopping cart. Along with a stutzy handle and a ettore pro+. Oh and some channels. I’ve lost some of my tools last week. Eh it was time to upgrade anyway.

so the flipper I can put the pad on top as well…is that right;
I have a 18in combi…i looking to buy a flipper slimline …should I get another 18 or should I get it smaller…like a 14 or 12…;

If it were me… I would get a different size, no use in having relatively the same tool in the same size
