Web traffic

For those of you who keep track of your web stats I have 2 questions:

  1. Do you get more traffic from the “(your city) window cleaning” or “window cleaning (your city)”?

2)do you get more traffic from the term “window washing”, or “window cleaning”?

Also, where are you located?

Thanks!

  1. Tulsa Window Cleaning
  2. Window Cleaning

I’ve also had someone google “i cant see through the windows in the commercial building”. I doubt that everyone’s searching for that, though.

window cleaning nj

window cleaning and window washing are pretty close most of the time about 1 or 2 unique visits difference

Interesting, I wonder if the term window washing is more of an east coast thing. I get SOME results for that term, but “window cleaning” seems to trump.

1.toronto window cleaning
2.window cleaning toronto
3. toronto window washing

The difference between 1 and 2 is very minimal.

I’ve noticed that the search volume for “austin window cleaning” is almost double what “austin window washing” is.

Had to go back and check our old analytics…

Found that “window cleaning salt lake city” had the best results.

Whenever folks say “Do you wash windows?” I always answer with “We don’t just wash em…we squeegee em, too!”

Seems to me that the vast majority of people in the industry prefer the term “Window Cleaner,” while the vast majority of the world considers us “Window Washers.”

“Window Cleaner” sounds a lot more professional to me, as opposed to the scrubby sound of “Washer.”
