What is the biggest house you have ever cleaned?

Small world, I have 2 customers here in Wyoming that have homes in RSF. My in-laws live in Encinitas so I had a chance to ride my bike through those neighborhoods, incredible homes! Saw a lot of windows I’d hate to clean though.

20,000 square feet.

After the better part of a decade, I had to fire them as a client.

Not that the job was hard, or that the client was a pain, because he was actually a really nice guy. Problem was their new house manager. She wanted her people in there to do the work and the homeowner said we are the only ones that are to touch his glass.

So, she made things hard for us from there on out.

She eventually got her way. I quit 3 years ago. Last year I got a call from her, last minute emergency around this time of year (when we are sold out anyway). Sorry, can’t help ya.

Largest home we cleaned 39,000 sq ft all Pella glass $5,800. They had a grand ball room with marble floors, shoe covers were warn inside - a normal requirement. We charged $1.58 per pane + 10%.

I did a 27,000 sq ft home… Lol

Our largest was $2200… including lift rental.

28,000 sqaure foot home wowza!!!

32k square foot home, 3 casitas and 3 guest homes and a pro golf shop. All on one property.

Just got my first “big” job, not sure square footy, but it’s all double hung French pane windows on a large Montana ranch house. Bid a little low at $1150 (competitors have been underbidding like a mofo).
During my days as an employee we worked on a lot of massive homes. Largest was 22k original with 5k new addition to home. Solid 3 day job with a crew of 3 guys. Wildest home I’ve been in!

THere’s a guy locally that is trying to build a 60,000 square footprint house, 4 stories tall.

I want nothing to do with that job lol

I love when the house is so big even luxury builder’s don’t want to touch it!

Have a mansion a few towns over that is just south of 51,000 sq. ft. I personally would never be interested in cleaning it.

I’m wanting to now focus on 15 or less windows and single story.

11,000 square foot home in The Reserve Country Club in Palm Desert, California. All french panes, covered in oil from the property manager trying to restore the faded anodizing on the grids. Nightmare job took two days to finish. I’m not a fan of large homes these days. They were a nice ego stroke in the beginning, I now prefer a couple medium sized homes a day. More profitable and less taxing on the body.

I don’t blame you. I rather a house that takes 3 or 4 hours anyday!

My Temp and I cleaned a hose last week, not particularly huge but all Pella windows that pull out. Took us 5 hours interior, 1 hour exterior.
