Thats what it’s designed for. But you should look over your deductable and decide what’s best to do. IE if the monitor can be bought for $200 and your deductable is $500. Then you are better for just buying the monitor yourself. Don’t get too wrapped up in this. In 4 years very few things have been broken with my company. I think 3 things total. One was a window from an old house that was painted shut. Homeowner was just happy I did not die being the shard of glass was huge and sliced my forearm. She told me they were not painted shut, but really had no idea as she did not do the painting. 2 was a small figurine thingy. Guy said it cost his wife $1 at the $1 store. I gave him 10% off and he was happy. 3rd thing was a clock my employee knocked off the wall in a bed room closing a tilt in. The client tried saying the clock cost $300.00. But here’s the catch. I took out my phone and looked up the model number. It was a $25.00 peice of junk and the hands were stopped at 1:33 meanwhile the employee knocked it off the wall around 4pm. So I think the customer was trying to pull a fast one with a broken clock. Either way she got 10% off an was happy. Again bro don’t get too wrapped up in it because heres the facts. If you need to call out your insurance company they are going to try and not cover the cost of the issue. It’s always this way. It’s how they make money, by denying the claim. They look for every reason under the sun to deny the claim. But you still need it or else no one will hireyou. Your company will be viewed as 1/2 assed or shaddy. It’s a part of life. I can’t stand to look over my homeowners policy. I can’t stand to look over my truck warranty, etc. It’s life. We can’t win everything all the time. Again talk to brian he will explain to you whats covered and whats not. He will also explain it so you understand it. No legal insurance guy mombo jumbo
you guys might not believe what I got told today…
the insurance guy told me that if I include pressure washing with window cleaning it’s $2400 a year! HOLY HELL! window cleaning by itself is only $580.
not sure if it’s even worth doing for that kind of insurance $.
what he also told me kind of bothered me…as though the insurance co has more say than the local gov… he said they will audit me every year for my sales records to see what kind of services I’m doing and “adjust” the premium as needed. so in short, if I do take income from pressure washing I have to pay them the $2400. as if they are the tax man nailing me with a law.
and that’s not all…they want to see my business plan…WTF?
my state law says I don’t have to get any insurance period. put these guys are acting like they are the law and demand I get this and that coverage to even operate a business. I’m starting to think insurance Co’s run this country.
