What should I charge for this roof wash?

Thanks Micah. Looks like it’s time to go out & invest in a roof pump! I totally get what you say about this, but have been wondering the “thoughts” behind it. You cleared it up. Thanks for getting this going Larry.

I see how floor sft can correlate to roof sft
I wonder if would there be “twice” the roof of the sft if it was a one story?
but perhaps most roof washing is two story, or the 1 stories are much easier.
The formula is working well for Mark.
just a math question that just made me wonder.

No problem, Tim. Good to see you found this site. I think you emailed me a few weeks back. Read a lot, you will lean a ton here

Yes…that was me who contacted you about the instant bidding program you have on your website. I have since figured it out that it is the ‘Responsibid’ program…cool. I am keeping up with several posts throughout this forum…it’s all good stuff. Did you end up getting this job & doing 1/2 the roof? I can see where the “quick” method of estimating at .10cents x 2 per sq ft can actually work out to where one need’s to be. Interesting.

I’m curious, why not just bid 20 cents a square foot?

Or 30?

Yea I got it. I don’t like doing half a roof, but that is what the customer wanted.

Just make sure you let them know that the other half is the same price when it starts streaking up next year.

Here’s some pics of the job…

Edit: ok I guess that didn’t work. THey are on my facebook page Redirecting...

Larry…What type of roof pump & set-up did you end up getting? I’m looking at several pumps and setting it up so I’m asking away from you (and anybody else that wants to chime in) :).
