What's the best solution to use on windows?

50-50 ??

Warm weather is coming, I think my next order will have some glass gleam in it… Should I go with 3 or 4?

That’s funny and true. Cats here get nasty over soaps. I have a solution mixture I won’t tell. It’s a secret solution. It kicks ass in all weather. Streak free spot free super slick. Yea man.

when it comes to soap…You just need to find what works best for the situation.

Don’t over think it!!

%, or 1/2 and 1/2

Of what solutions? It can’t be 50-50 h2o to gg4 I’m assuming.

Four is formulated for hard water, I’ve used both and four is better in our area, in my opinion.

Whats so expensive about dish soap, splash ammonia, and a wetting agent. I use ABC slick. shhhhhh

Ammonia and Vinegar is my combination, works great…only negative is seeing the water on the glass as well as have not tested in cold water.

I think talking about this stuff makes the window cleaning business fun and mixing your own solution is great. If you are not into innovative ideas and interested in your job, then you are probably just trying to do the job done for money, which works and is needed. Myself I am getting into this as a go getter with artistry/creativity and really enjoy this aspect maybe your the same.

I like w5 washing up liquid, rainwater and cheap ready mixed screen wash it’s great in all conditions

Dale sorry I’m confused. I know it don’t take much, are you mixing 50% soap an 50% gg4 in a float bottle

Your avatar is that you or the Marlboro man?

Sorry, I should have been clearer. My mix as stated previously in the thread is GG3 or 4 and Ecover and at this time I prefer 4 because it has hard water buffering components. I think that it sheets better on the glass but don’t take that to the bank or my description of the components. My area has hard water. I say start with a mix of 50% GG3 or 4 and 50% Ecover and adjust for the slip you like. Glass Gleem has none. ( Slip that is.) I use a float bottle because I only mix a gallon of solution at a time with 1/4-1/2 oz of the 50/50% soap added. YMMV. Again my apologies, I’m an old fxxk … er fart.

Yes. Then I add 1/4-1/2 oz to a gallon of distilled or pure water to make my cleaning solution. My apologies.

Oh ok, I put the gg4 into a float bottle an dump 2oz or so an then squirt Ecover in bucket never measured the Ecover come to think of it it could be 50/50

I’ll order a small thing if gg4 then, guess I can’t knock it til I try it

Now you are on your own.

If you like I’ll send you a few oz. I have enough to last several years. Unless you do only straight pulls you will need to add some kind of slip, doesn’t have to be Ecover.

That would be pretty rad, I won’t say no… Especially if you have a lifetime supply
