Where can I find this rubber?

You just want some one to sing the pretty princess song to you

I’m game as long as the song was published between 1980 and 2000. (None of that Tiffany or what’sherface music. Oh, and no NKOB stuff either)

But only if you can solve an issue that I’ve been having for about 30 years: On Miami Vice, Crockett and Tubb’s chief (Castillo played by Edward James Olmos) killed a bad guy with a sword. So what I really need to know is, was he the first mexican ninja? I mean, I don’t remember them ever developing Castillo’s background or anything and it’s been bugging me for a while. I haven’t watched the show since it was on air. This is the stuff that keeps me up at night but I’m too lazy to google it.

It’d just be really cool if he was a mexican ninja instead of just your average mexican with a machete…

(And for the new people on the board: I’m mexican so that’s why I’m askin.)

Maybe he was the first Mexican Chuck Norris?

…The first Mexican ninja?..Don Diego de la Vega aka…Zorro.

Not quite. He used an epee. That’s french.

Sent from my Panasonic VCR. Please set the clock before responding.

… That’s the movie version…An epee is a sport sword…Zorro played for keeps…He was also adept with a bullwhip (very ninja-esque)

Tiffany - I Think We’re Alone Now - YouTube

Debbie Gibson - Only In My Dreams (1987) - YouTube

Come on !!!
It was one or the other back in the 80s.
I just can’t believe it was Debbie Gibson for me. Maybe cause she was just so close to were I lived

Okay cope with my unapithetic bullshit… Up your butt and around the corner…

Debbie Gibson! That was the name that just wouldn’t come out this morning. It is sort of weird that I said “whatsherface” and you knew who I was talking about.

I probably know their songs, but it’s only because my sister loved them so much (girl music). It’s also probably why I had headphones on for most of the 80’s.

Humm, nope, just not seeing it. The japanese style of swordsmanship is entirely different than what I saw Zorro do as a kid. I’ll give him props because he was the mexican Lone Ranger, but he wasn’t the mexican David Carradine.

Oh, and how much more awesome would Kung Fu have been if they had cast Bruce Lee?

Jeez, I leave the board for a few hours and all of a sudden Jared is Mexican and Debbie Gibson songs are on the jukebox!

Incidentally, I liked the Tiffany version…
It feels weird to say it now, but I liked the ending…

“Let me feel your heartbeat”
“Cause I CAN change your heartbeat.”

Which corner?

3rd and Old School BLVD…

I just can’t believe I got caught watching these videos the other day after I posted them :). My brother comes back to the van , an was like are you serous. "I thought I was alone … Now ".

Dang even for the clothes she wears, she was hot…

80’s Music in the mall… Classic…

Quite the developing thread here lol. Here’s what I found for the TfX item. Can only find a few of their products online and I haven’t given them a call so I can’t say in what capacity if any they are producing. TXF Products | Brownwood, TX - Macrae's Blue Book
