Windshield fluid damage on paint/veneer?

I’ve been doing residential in the winter lately, but rarely do it below freezing. I plan on running windshield fluid on a residence tomorrow, and curious if it does damage or discolors paint/veneer. I noticed it leaves spots on certain table finishes, and was concerned about exterior finishes. It has been no problem on commercial accounts so far… but residential?

Anyone have any poor results from dripping windshield fluid on exteriors? Thanks.

Use Methanol.

Methanol is the ingredient in windshield washer fluid that stops the water from freezing, so technically, he is using methanol lol. But the blue die I would totally see staining something.
