In previous years, we pack up the DI for winter time and keep it, of course, in a warm spot, away from these Iowa winters. Everyone, though, has talked about heating the water. If some of the pure water freezes on the window, and then thaws, will the run off cause spotting?
Move to Southern California, and you dont have to worry about DI freezing.
Lol, No freezing, just raging out of control wildfires. I think I’d prefer the freezing.
I’m not sure Mrs. Squeegee, but if the water freezes and stays there long enough to catch dust floating in the air, I would imagine that would be deposited onto the glass when the water thaws and then drys.
I would rather stay in California…
Btw, after all the fires are done and the insurance companies settle with the home owners, guess who they call??? yep, you got it, they call me.
So, this winter will be very good to me.
