He explained his windows situation and I gave him about what I would charge.
Jack gives me a call back and said "the client said NO to that price. But the customer told me he will let me clean his windows if i DOUBLE the estimated price…,"
Man wish I had that customer !!!

Not necessarily, many companies have a budget for window cleaning. I have had several customers who have told me they have a little more in the budget for window cleaning after a few months of doing the job and doing it well.
Just shows that you CAN charge a higher price for your services and not to sell yourself short.

[MENTION=24315]Steve076[/MENTION] That is what happened with me. 166 large commercial windows (filthy), exterior only, last minute cleaning before owner comes to visit property. My original price was too low. Pax suggested a higher price and it made sense to me. Called properrty manager with price and he said no. I thought to say no back to him but before I did he says they have more in their budget for window cleaning than what I proposed and offered to pay me double my price. Sort of like the government. If they don’t spend it they don’t get it again next year. Did job to their satisfaction. Owner happy.
Now will be twice a year cleaning and waiting to get info on another property they manage and will be twice a year cleaning also.
Glad I called [MENTION=3025]pagliachi[/MENTION]. Side note: I will be helping him on a job tomorrow that i refered to him this week.
