It would work, but I would definitely hook up a prefilter to it so you would get longer life out of the resin. If you new to WFP, I would get the half cube tank from WCR. That is the better way to go.

300 bucks for a quarter cube is a bit high. You can get 1/2 cube tank from WCR for 340.00. I’m pretty sure that’s free shipping too.

Buy an empty one, and a couple of bags of resin,… MUCH cheaper!
