Was planning on running a batch of those plastic cards myself soon. Still looking for a quality printer able to get 'em out though. Don’t think I’ve seen anyone in the area (windows or otherwise) that uses anything even remotely similar so it should definitely stand out!
How much are these cards
hell yeah! I get a great reaction with mine as well - it’s a smooth material and it’s just a bit taller than others - people often examine it and feel it and compliment on it even if they’re not interested in WCing. I try not to get all “American Psycho” about it, but it is nice having nice cards

If you’re still in the market (after 2 years) I was dealing with these guys www.plasticprinters.com. The price is around $0.70 per card for 1000. They’re also the only printer I found that does 2-sided in clear plastic. Here’s what I was going to go with but I wanted to really simplify my design:
