Does anybody know what company cleans the windows on the new World Trade Center building?

$20,000 bucks says DrTint gets the job…

That was funny!

Simple question. I take it nobody knows then?

I think inward valcourt does it…

Sorry, the laughs were referring to another thread about doing business in New York City.

Until Saturday night I’d only seen the new WTC from about 2 blocks away near the WTC PATH Center. On the way home the other night I had to go down West Street to get to the Battery Tunnel and got within 30 feet of the building en route and realized how much of a window cleaning nightmare it is lol.

When you’re right under it, you realize that it actually tapers INWARD, starting about a third of the way up the building. The base of the building is actually considerably smaller than the middle, where it “bulges”. I guess this was so that they could fit everything they wanted to in that limited amount of real estate.

I dont know how theyre going to clean that bottom third. With that inward curve I foresee a LOT of suction cups

there are probably hooks for them to hook into with a short section of cord.

Is the building already finished? I thought they had another year or so.

Its finished, not open yet to my knowledge. There’s still a lot of construction remnants around, and they have to put the spire on but the buiding itself was finished sometime last September-ish.

Is a beauty, but not as visually striking as the original WTC when you’re up close to it, IMO

Except for the spire, it is finished on the outside, but has a lot of work still to do on the inside.

I heard Chris and Alex are working with Perry on developing a 1400’ WFP

Bob, JV, Chris, Alex and myself should go lowball Valcourt and get that contract lol

Then TintDr can pay us off and kickback the property manager and we all make a hefty little profit for minimal work lol
