so i talked to a window cleaner MONTHS ago said the “hey if you ever want to get out of the game we would love to buy your accounts”. Well no we didnt get any account, later found out we didnt want the 6 accounts he actually had, but he doesn’t go above ground floor.
Well 2 days ago I got a call from him. The cleaning company for a slew of walgreens wanted him to bid them out and he sent them to me.
100 Walgreens stores all done minumum 2 times a year some stores are quarterly and some are monthly. How 'bout them apples? he just submitted it WITH NO OTHER BIDS for approval.
This is one of those right place right time kinda deals, just had to bring it up…
As far as landing big jobs…You would be surprised how many you can land by approching them. This one came to us but you go to them, your chooseing them, if they come to you THEY have to choose YOU. they take a sheet ton of work to land, but they are worth it.

Great deal. Just a word of caution, especially if you are subcontracting for a company that has Walgreens. Walgreens is very slow paying. Some Invoices are open for 90 days. Get all the info on who to call for accounts payable, also store manager and district manager numbers. You have to stay on them to get paid.
Yeah, from what I’ve heard Walgreen’s treats all of their suppliers/vendors like junk.
They seem to have this “deal with it, if you want the work” mentality.
Man one time we got about 60 or so Mandees, that blew up pretty quickly. We killed out selves getting them done monthly… They were all over the place then they just never wanted to pay… Think we did them all and they were gone in 60 days finally payed like maybe… 150 days later…
I waited for about a year or so.!!! Allways got the runaround !! The local mg was good but corp. was the problem. !! Do u see banker in the company name ??Pro Window Kleening. NOPE !! Walgreens isn’t going anywhere and won’t tarnish their reputation by not paying. I have accounts that take several months to pay, I just look at it as money in the bank. For someone jsut starting out (which isn’t you) not getting paid for several months could be detrimental. Our local Olive Garden usually takes two months to pay, no biggie Hair salons lead the dead beat race for me. But they also probably have the lead in number of accounts we do. Haven’t counted lately but somewhere around 30ish.
My concern would be scheduling them to try and reach my daily goal. May be time for some heavy marketing in each area.
