Hello WCR world!! First time posting but a long time reader. Just want to say thanks quick to everyone who posts on here. Have helped me tremendously over the past 3 years. It’s a really great community on here.
So I was wondering if anyone could give me just some general knowledge on running 2 pressure washers off of the same outside water spicket. I know that with each location a number of factors needs to be taken into account. But hypothetically let’s say that I am in a city environment with a good water system and above average water pressure. With the use of an adaptor can I run 2 Dewalt 4200psi (My brain is horrified at the moment and I am not 100% positive about the psi or gpm so let’s just say 4000+psi) from the one water outlet?? I would only be doing this in very rare situations. I was just wondering if it’s possible without destroying the pumps on 1 or both machines?? Thanks again WCR Community
It would depend on what your using them for, generally 4200 psi are gonna be thirsty if your cleaning concrete with both they wont function as it should, if your down streaming 2 single story buildings you may be ok idk it depends on your flow from the tap, my flow here is just under 10 gal per min
If the situation does present itself I would be using one machine to downstream a 2 story building with both machines or downstreaming with one and surface cleaning concrete with another. I know that the locations gpm that I’m working at is the main factors and in my area it differs depending on exactly where I’m working. How would I find out the gpm the system is putting out at a job?? Bc I know most of the home owners won’t know that answer.
Welcome @Dbarron7152! I don’t do PW yet, so no recs, sorry.
