3rd story apt storm window cleaning

Hello everyone,
I am fairly new to this work and recently I have been asked to take a look at an apartment buildings 3rd floor windows (owner of builiding lives up here) My concern is what is the best way to clean storm windows at this level? Are storms fairly easy to take out? Can you clean these windows with an extension pole? PLEASE HELP!

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!!

Storm windows can be a pain at any height, are you doing only the 3rd floor windows?
Can you remove any of the storm windows at ground level to see how difficult they will be to remove?
If they need to be removed you should most definitely charge more for this as removing them from a 3rd floor will be very difficult ( carrying them up and down the ladder )
Once you have the storm windows at ground level it will be easy to clean them there.
As for the regular windows they could easily be cleaned with an extension pole.

Hope I helped, anymore info you need just ask if I can’t help I know some of the other guys on here most certainly can…

There is a video around here someplace of Dange removing a second level storm using ropes and suction cups to lower a storm window to the ground. I thought that was a great idea.

Most storm windows in NJ are removed from the inside. The only ones I’ve ever seen here that come off from the outside are the old style that hang on 2 clips at the top of the window.

Definitely try to find a way to do it all from inside. Depending on what kind of storms they are.

Thanks guys this is a lot of help! I will let you know how it turns out!

I can pretty much garantee you that these come apart from the inside. After removing the storm you can clean the right there in the room on laid out towels but you,ll still need to tackle the regular window frommthe outside most likely by ladder, especially if they’re frenchies.
