I was curious if it had to do w/ the composition of the sections, clamps, or other issues. With cleaners having certain expectations of a sectional pole and different expectations of a telescopic pole I just wondered why this one has characteristics of both in the telescopic part of the pole.
The thickness of the pole sections (1-8) are thicker at the top and the bottom, so the clamps will close on the pole. But the rest of each pole (in between) is too thin for the clamps to close on. Good design to make the pole easier to raise and close, but not great if you like to adjust the poles without having to carry all 48’ with you.
