this is my version of a cart that holds everything I need for traditional wc (residential only).
two buckets on top of each other screwed onto a $15 dolley from walmart (made for airport suitcases)
the top bucket has a 1" bathroom pipe plumbbed on the bottom to release water without having to tip the whole thing over.
the bottom bucket has a cut out door in the back to put my rags and belt.
its suits me well,
I unload it from my van and put it by the customers front door.
strap on my belt
load the squeegies n mops and get to work
i never need to run back and forth to my van or loose tools anymore
Why couldn’t a simple tool belt with a boab work? If it works for you, great, but I wear a belt, with boab. I put my rectangular bucket full of solution on a drop cloth by the front door, and that’s it. Tool belt holds my towels, scraper, sponge, mop, squeegee, etc.
this setup is unique to me and my area, and only for resi, commercial I would only need a bucket of solution and my belt as you have pointed out.
its really humid where I live and red dirt as well as black road grime along with salt air from windy ocean breezes all end up on the exterior windows of pretty much 99% of all homes in my area. I have lived in mid west and central USA b4 and understand how you guys can do a whole house exterior/interior with one bucket of water solution in a boab, one wet towel, and one dry towel
on one resi home I go through atleat 5 wet towels that are black by the end of the job and three dry towels for detailing. Also need to refill my soap bucket about 5 times because it gets black and dirty really quick.
On youtube when I watch window cleaning videos a majority of the vids show wc’ers cleaning windows that already look clean. I guess they are just polishing up the glass to restore that gleaming shine to the window. Here I clean windows so that the customer can see out their window again. lol, thus the array of tools/rags/squeegies i need to lug around with me on a cart, also got a cordless wetvac in the cart for interior tracks n sills.
For those that utilize carts, my cart might help or inspire and thats why im sharing. wanted to make a vid but kinda lazy.
