What do y’all think of this ad?
I like it…Maybe a red check mark and don’t cross out your name?
I’d cross out all of the other boxes so it looks like the homeowner is accomplishing something…nothing Feels better than crossing the last line off a to-do list. Also that way your name is NOT crossed out, thus obscuring your name and making it less visible to see or read on the card.
Also, there would be multiple mother-in-laws at thanksgiving, but the apostrophe on in-law’s should not be there, bad grammar doesn’t look good, and believe me, people see it.
Mother-in-law’s car means one mother-in-law’s car specifically, meaning ownership. The way that you have it is that way, and it is not correct. It should NOT have an apostrophe period. Google “plural mother-in-laws” and you’ll see. One way to avoid that whole issue completely is to go with something like this…I’d actually suggest going with something a bit more comical and tongue-in-cheek, such as “why give your mother-in-law another thing to nitpick about this Thanksgiving?” Or, if your flyer is meant to go to the end of the year and you want to include Christmas as well, then change thanksgiving to holiday…” why give your mother-in-law another thing to nitpick about this holiday?”
Just thoughts.
Whats the other side look like?
It’s a Facebook ad. I haven’t used it yet, I keep meaning to get back to.
Better. I still think the mother in law line is the better way to go because mother in law jokes are timeless about mother in laws always being critical of who their son married. The unhappy relatives line sounds vague and you have a scowling woman there…ask yourself this: does she look like an unhappy Mother in law or does she look like an unhappy relative?
Groceries is also misspelled.
I think you also need a call to action, saying something like “only a few spots left because everyone wants their windows cleaned for the holidays” or something similar…you need to find a line to urge people to call. Something short and sweet because with too much text you’re taking away from the ad by giving people too much to look at/read/comprehend.
