I have spoken with two people who have done this deal with A.L.
Basically offer a screamin deal, close to 50% off, A.L. gets 20-30% and plan/hope for up selling.
If anyone has taken part in this and would like to share their experience/offer I would appreciate hearing how it went.
In our area they did this 2-3 weeks ago with a window cleaner (on this forum), he stated he landed 65 jobs. The territory of the email would overlap part of the area he emailed.
We are dead in the month of Feb and really am just looking to keep 2 guys busy as they don’t want time off, if I can grow our client list and put a few pennies in the company account I would be satisfied.
We tried the Angieslist coupon blast… with pretty good results. We added around 60 new clients with “$100 off on gutter cleaning” deal.
Yes, we did end up doing jobs for a lot less than we usually would, but we were successful in booking W.C. jobs and 1-2 ultrasonic blind cleaning gigs. Overall, I think we would do it again.
The only thing we were really frustrated with is that some people that bought the coupon expected US to contact THEM. We didn’t receive any of their personal info until they called us. 4 months later, we still have 4-5 people that bought the coupon that haven’t used it.

Our experience was about the same when did a gutter deal last fall…We still have a few that havent called to book an appointment or maybe they just forgot about. We also did a window cleaning deal recently and sold the hell out of it. I definitely think its a winner, but the numbers will speak for themselves.We also offer a wide variety of services other than just window cleaning. Its not something I would want to do year round but it is nice to put a few pennies in the bank this time of year. I know this time last we were dead for 3 months and are trying to avoid that this year.
