I use Avast. Never had a problem with it.
I haven’t used anti virus since 2007, when I stopped using Windows.
I’m told Avira is good.
Sent from my SCH-I535 using Window Cleaning Resource mobile app
Thanks for the all the input guys!
Chris .
When I loaded it, it deleted a .DLL file which would not allow me to connect to the internet. I had wipe everything and reload the operating system and then everything else. I was sent to escalations when I called McCoffin.
I’ve been using microsoft security essentials for a few years now with no problems. It’s a free download.
I use Norton because it’s intertwined with my Comcast account.
But I can also give Esset a good reference. Used it for years.
Osx

Kaspersky
^^^^This what I went with.
I did not solve the issue that I thought it was.
Day before yesterday turn on the computer and everything was taken up.
2.56 GB free of 35.8 GB normal I have more then 15GB available.
And i have not added any programs or new downloads.(thought maybe it was a virus but I guess not.)
Any Ideas??
Steve
Right click the trash bin. click properties.
This will give you a break down of space available. On all drives in system as well as system reserve.
Recycle bin @ default setting takes up 10% of your hard drive space on each drive in system…
Highlight each drive and click the custom size. And set the recycle bin to take up your selected amount off space.
My self mine is set for 100 meg…
Also look at your settings for system restore… I.E. your OS back-up (system restore)
How much space has been allocated for this?? And how often is windows backing up your system???
Would also highly recommend you download the trial version of g-data… Full version used for 30 days.

Still a full version after but you don’t get the updates after the 30 days.
I so do not put any trust into Microsoft ability to keep things away from my pc. IMO
Especially when they themselves have trouble keeping viruses off their own servers.

I also use Kaspersky, been using for 6 years never had issues. Before I used to use AVG free and also had avast, when I installed Kaspersky it found many threats that the free programs let thru.
Agreed!
