Any body use/d the Pulex Abrasive ( blue strip )washer sleeve ?whats it like?

I found the pulex abrasive strip sleeve pretty useless, myself. It doesn’t hold water very well, plus the blue abrasive strip isn’t positioned very well. If you are using it on a pole, you have to stand extremely close to the glass to get the right angle. Why is the abrasive strip on the back? It should be positioned closer to the top, that way when you are using a pole with some angle, you can actually make contact. Better yet, make the abrasive wrap three quarters around the sleeve so it will be useful on lower glass with more pole angle and higher glass with less angle. Sure, you would be losing some of that white stuff, but that useless material doesn’t hold water worth a crap anyways…IMO

I understand working pairs and the UK monthly model. My comment was regarding a worker on a ladder dripping water on another worker under that ladder. Why not simply stagger?

These manufacturers must be really bad window cleaners to design things that in effect are not that effective. with a little more thought they could double there Sales ( rough estimate )

They probably have not got time to Look up larry and stagger because one will be faster than the other probably… its all about focus… anyway he only used the Pulex a short amount of time… he was possibly being hypothetical … the pulex simply drips… all the water runs down the bottom very quickly … so your always flipping the washer when it comes out of your BOAB… it does not hold the water like the Unger Green for example… hes got rid of it basically because its a poor washer allround

if they are bothered they can stagger where they work .theres not a lot of time to be had once we get going so mostly they carry on working under- +we all wear caps and i try to take care of dripping as little as i can . they themselves have to be very careful not to knock me off my ladder as they move about

Safety was my real point; I did a poor job of communicating that earlier.

Have you ever tried the “blue devil”? Its a great sleeve if you are looking for a sleeve that scrubs well and takes of some of the tough dirt. I don’t think any sleeve is going to do as well as steel wool or a white scrub pad but this is the best sleeve I have found as far as sleeves go to remove tough dirt and grime. It also holds water a little better than the scrub pads that have the abrasive pad on one side or the Ettore porcupine. It does not hold as much as a regular sleeve but in between the other scrubbing sleeves and a regular sleeve. I love it as far as scrubbing sleeves go! The sleeve I have is only a 14 inch sleeve so I have not tried the sleeve in an 18 inch, but the 14 works great.
