If you mean the white sleeve with the blue abrasive strip…then yes I friggin love them. They don’t hold a lot of water though…
Yes shawn that is my only complaint. They don’t hold s*it for water. I don’t care for them, I think they break down and rip open a lot faster than unger.
but from feel they are good quality or just average ?.. holding water is not a problem… i always have a pump sprayer with me at all times…
another question… when the washer is in the BOAB . for lets say for arguments sake 2-4 minutes without being used. does the water all drain to the bottom like the monsoon ? or does pretty much stay spread on the washer sleeve while its in the upright position ?
Thanks John
Blue
its a real dripper. i usually work on the ladder while one of my lads does the downstairs . that sleeve drip swater in a stream every time its lifted from my Boab onto their heads BIGTIME . i stopped using it for that very reason
Thanks jonny … scrub this scrubber then…
But what about the scrub pad … the blue part? is any good ?
It depends on a number of factors I guess. I like them for outside windows primarily, because they do tend to drip. But I just spin the mop around so that the wet end is at the top of the window. But it does cut down on the use of the white scrub hand pads. I like different sleeves for everything. Like if you are cleaning windows on the outside with dirty tracks on the outside, I like to use a sleeve that holds a lot of water like Unger Monsoon (the green one I believe). I say give it a shot…
it scrubbed pretty good . trouble is everytime i pulled it from my Boab i had to glance at the scrubber to see if i had it the right way around, or if i had chosen the soft white side. 50% or sometimes 100% of the time i was wrong which i found really annoying . i think the blue scrub part is made from the same material as is used on the ends of sleeves .
The scrub on it is less than a white pad. But wasn’t over impressed with it either way. Average sleeve, move along, nothing to see here.
I agree with Karl, a green Nylex brush, a Wiljer Devil on your favorite sleeve, or a white pad on a Doodle Bug holder all work better. I know, multiple tools, and each has a drawback but they work better.

I’ve used that sleeve for the last couple years and now use my Wagtail Whirlwind about half the time. The abrasive works decently, but with my back up bronze wool I feel a little more prepared for the crap that doesn’t come off the glass easily.
Don’t get me wrong…the abrasive on the sleeve does not compare to a white pad or steel wool, but it does come in handy.
I normally use only one washer sleeve the sörbo yellow sleeve with the white scrub pad… this is the best there is For me personally… but you cant get them in Europe. that why i was looking at the pulex… i wont get the Pulex… Thanks for the information… fellow scrubbers
I’ve used ungers version of this, same deal though doesn’t hold water well and drips
You have your employees clean windows right under your ladder while you’re working? Why?
They work in pairs ( or more ) , one does upstairs and the other down stairs …Because in the Uk there is a lot of terraced houses , these houses have only got 4 - 6 ( many just 4 ) windows at the front and 4-6 at the back … so that´s 2 up stairs and 2 down stairs… the window cleaner´s have not got time to wait for the other window cleaner to finish upstairs … and the windows are directly below… Window cleaners in The uk are probably cleaning 3 times the rate of windows that window cleaners in the US on a daily basis when they are cleaning residential … because their window cleaning residential jobs are 1 weekly to 1 monthly and swiftness is of the essence…
peterspeters got it in one ! did you used to work that way here when you were in the u.k. ? As im the boss i can choose which way we work as a team ,i prefer being on the ladder all day long for two reasons 1- there are less windows upstairs than down below and the windows are smaller upstairs 2- the downstairs requires a lot of bending down ,its very hard on the knees for me . My service includes a door scrub every clean,so you must bend down low a lot to get the wood/plastic looking good.
At the moment my scrubber of choice is the SYR tiger , blue and white ,tough cloth strands after they are broken in , it is a “medium dripper” also not too heavy to use all day long.i first bought one of these 4 yrs ago and because it was soft i thought it was rubbish and put it to one side
, however i found out much later that by breaking it in the fibre strands became coarse ,like scrim.
Jonny do you have the Pulex Red tiger or is that another tiger ?.. i have tried the microtiger… did not really like it that much… maybe i should go back and give it another go . but after using the Sörbo i cant imagine there is anything better for scrubbing than that…
its not the pulex microtiger ,it is the “SYR tiger” which is blue and white . At first glance it looks a very run of the mill sleeve , indeed it is unremarkable when you first use it. BUT ,after its been used a while ,the strands become harsh a bit like strands of scrim ,dont ask me why ,its strange but true . some of them have a velcro fasten and some have poppers to close
in the photo is one such fitted onto an Ettore t-bar. they are slightly too small in length to fit on Ettore bars so i had to cut a tad off each end of the Ettore bar to make it fit. but the Syr sleevee fits Unger t-bars normally
