I’m looking at the inside of a glass atrium for widow cleaning. The windows are at least three stories high, closer to four. There is a rail that goes the length of the building at the 40ft high mark. There is nothing to tie off to at all. The previous company walked the rails. There is no room for a man lift or any kind of lift. Scaffolding might be an option, but still not sure if there is room for that. My question is: Is there any ideas on this? I thought a super strong suction cup that would hold the weight of a person, but what’s to stop the glass from coming with the person falling? These are large plates too. probably 5’x5’.
thanks for the help
Can you post any pictures.
Would one of the indoor pure water cleaning kits work?
There is always room for a lift.
Telescopic Lift, Cougar Lift, XLT-2900, Maintenance Lift
This company is selling them but I have rented them from tri-state. I’m sure united has them also. They are made to go through standard doors. One thing I will tell you from being up on one. They are scary. The center position makes for some interesting swaying. But totally stable and work well.
