I made the BIG mistake of doing that 3 times. You would think I would learn after the first.
Its a HUGE rip off Trevor. Save your money. I do know of someone but I can’t afford him…if you need to pay 1500 to 2000 per month, that is a legit company and you WILL get results. No such thing as cheap SEO…hate to hit a sore spot folks, sorry…
I use a company called Royaltech. I pay for a sponsored link and just now I looked and am at the top in that section plus placed in the google map and a generic listing, all on page one.

Nothing looks more un natural to google than doing 2 - 3 hundred backlinks a day. I would imagine you would get blacklisted from google rather quickly if you did that.
More importantly you want the links to be relevant to your industry. To many people have used link farms go gain an unfair advantage, Google unfortunately is slow to respond. Lots of people got rocked by the “Panda Update” which affected something like 11% of the internet, so it is good to have variety of good links.
Sometimes more importantly is to have important links backed up with other links that re-enforce the intended page so your links go 2 or 3 layers deep adding credibility to that specific link.
There are ways to achieve “White Hat” results and not have to input every single link, through some automation that you control.
We hired an SEO team to get some traffic on our website. Someone to do the webdesign, a few working on forum posting and blog commenting. Keeping it up to date and making it interactive really gets a lot of traffic. You can outsource on other countries because they have cheap labor but they have very good skills. What me and my husband do is that we monitor their performance, to make sure that they are doing their job. And so far so good. We are maintaining a PR of 3.
