I definitely wouldn’t go for fixed price services…too many variables

The term variable is the opposite of the term fixed. Would you prefer a variable price service? Our charges are VERY reasonable for the value we provide. We strive to make our product the most affordable in the market for what you get. That being said, we are also open to constructive feedback on how we can improve our service.

I believe he was referring to the services the contractors provide, not the SaaS subscription. Too many variables in regards to window types and difficulty, distance, etc. to have a fixed price in the directory.

Hey Alex. Totally my mistake. Although we do have fixed prices for standard jobs (which you can adjust at any point through your mobile or our web portal), we have this awesome field called ā€œCustom Jobā€ where you can ultimately send preliminary quotes and change prices in real-time while carrying out service. You can always adjust line items for both materials AND labor before checking out, so nothing in our software is truly fixed. We are also currently optimizing our job bidding system too.

Custom jobs allow you to change up your prices for both material AND labor line items.

I just wanted to let you an everyone know that we are just about finished with our Quickbooks integration and are currently looking for BETA testers to ensure that everything is working properly and to fine-tune the integration. If you are interested in BETA testing HouseCall Pro with the new Quickbooks integration, please send an email to [email protected] with the subject line: ā€œBETA TESTER REQUEST - WCRā€ and you will receive your FIRST MONTH OF SERVICE FOR FREE!!

I think the app has advantages but I’m not paying 10% for new clients that come off the app.

im ok with paying a flat rate fee to use a service but im getting tired of these companies nickel and diming me as a customer.

ill pass

10% is steep maybe $10

exactly! They get a monthly fee, making money off credit card payments and now a referral fee on new customers.

Let’s be serious. Do you want to have to DOWNLOAD AN APP to get someone to come clean your carpet? Not me.

To be clear, if it’s your customer, we don’t take 10% of anything. If WE get YOU a new customer, we get 10%. I honestly don’t see how that’s unfair. It is a typical finder’s fee.

Your customers don’t need to download the booking app. You can run your entire business regardless of whether they have the app or not. The consumer booking app is just an optional feature that makes it easier to be booked and to process payment.

We don’t make money off our credit card processing, that’s why our rate is so low. Square makes money off of the additional card processing charges, we don’t. We pass down those rate savings to you.
