I posted this in another thread, but I felt it deserved its own:
If you have an iPhone (might work for android, too) and have had trouble uploading photos to the forum or elsewhere, because the orientation is always wrong, here’s what you do:
1- go into your photo app
2- view the photo you plan on uploading
3- click on the “edit” button
4- use the rotation tool (lower left hand corner) to turn the photo upside down, and hit save
5- repeat steps 3 and 4, so the photo is right side up again
6- now try uploading your photo- the rotation should be fixed. This method works for me, anyways.
Stupid world, not conforming to Apple standards. I remember the first time I downloaded iTunes (post-napster and pre-limewire) and it SUUUUUCKED having to fix all those mp3 tags. I downloaded MediaMonkey to do them in batches but that only got me so far. And of course once iTunes showed me how much info was available in the tags, I had to have it all filled out correctly. None of that stuff mattered to winamp but once you got that first ipod…
But I still refuse to use more than 5 genres (Rock, Techno, Country, Bible, Christian). Bible has a ton of sermons, teachings and whatnot under it, whereas the other genres are music only. But audiobooks and podcasts don’t count as genres.
However, Johnny Cash seems to float between Rock and Country. I’m just not sure where to put him.
The images we see are made up of light reflected from the objects we look at. This light enters the eye through the cornea. Because this part of the eye is curved, it bends the light, creating an upside down image on the retina (this is eventually put the right way up by the brain).
Perhaps Apple is doing the brains work for you…
But because your brain is still doing it the old fashioned way, you see the pics upsidedown…
