Recently I was doing some painting at my place and… lets just say I’m a lousy painter who rushes through it because I can’t stand doing it. Long story short, I have some grey paint on my tan carpet I need removed. Its a short carpet nothing long and shaggy at all. Is there anything I can use to get the paint out without completely ruining the carpet?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I picked up an old school book called Vim & Vinegar, Get water based paint out of carpet by sponging with a solution of 1 tablespoon vinegar a 1 tablespoon liquid detergent in 1 quart of warm water. If you try it let me know if it works.
Thanks, I’ll let you know how t turns out.
Denature alcohol will work also.
Where’s Phil when we need him?
Man Phil was funny. Wished he’d show up sometime!
If its latex based paint it will be fairly easy to remove. Try to blot it with any degreaser type product. Just take a sponge dipped in the degreaser and blot the paint. Make sure you do not rub it as the paint will spread. Then, blot and dry it up with a white towel. This should work. Good luck.
