Automotive Dealership Quote?

Hi I recently got asked to do a bid for this dealership in our town. I don’t know about how much I should charge for a monthly interior and exterior window cleaning service or for a twice a month service one only exterior and the next interior and exterior? Need some opinions

Thanks really appreciated.

Do a window count
Take the window count x your price per window
Is there a lot of junk in the interior? Take that into account
Now stand back and look at the job and decide how long it will take you and multiply by YOUR hourly wage you charge.
Compare " by window price" to “hourly” price and adjust if needed.
Just tell the client what a EXTERIOR CLEANING costs and what a In/out will cost.
Most often the customer will tell you how often they want the service done.

I was estimating it would take about 6 hours to complete the job with two guys.

i think dealerships need to be done with wfp. if you dont, ether a bucket bob will take it for basically nothing, or some fish type doing .50 per pane per side. Atleast thats my market.

I don’t think it should take anywhere close to 6 hours, if the photos show all the windows. I’m pretty sure I could do those by myself in less than 3 hours, maybe even 2.

i did dealerships for a guy for almost 6 years nose to glass, and regardless of how long you think this job would take, i owuldent touch it without a wfp

We did the entire construction clean up for the contractor and it took about 8 hours all ladder work and I wouldn’t do it again without getting a wfp.

Tried the link from 20/20 windows on that VW. Dealership but doesn’t open on my iPhone

Check it out when you have a chance to get to a computer. I had a post on there about pricing, just be aware that my price was from around 2005-2006. (Hope there would be an increase since then).

I used to do the same dealership here in Dallas. Its been a few years but If I remember correctly I think I did the whole dealership in and out + the partition glass for $400.00. It took about a day for everything. I know the dealership I did had the windows pictured but they also had a few more. Plus the interior partitions could be different. I was doing it for a janitorial company that had the cleaning contract so they could have been charging more the same or even paying out of pocket for the windows to get the contract.

I used large sorbo channels on the large slanted panes and it went quick and easy. It is not necessary to use a waterfed pole. I think it might even go quicker with a large strip washer and large squeegee than a waterfed pole. On the inside I did the same thing but use a ledger with the large channels. I used the swivel ledger. IT just looks intimidating with the large slanted panes but it actually makes it easier for you and more profitable because they think it looks hard too so you can charge more and fly through it.

20/20 Windows - I checked out the link. Thanks its a big help.

What A Pane- thanks for the information I will be stopping by tomorrow to give the GM the quote I’ll keep those numbers in mind

I love the pickle/slayer channels, they really are the best for the larger lengths. I have used a super channel, but it just doesn’t cut the solution as cleanly or conform to the glass as well. The slot system plus the 45 ends really make it so much better. I hate shelling out for the special rubber, but IMO it’s worth it to be able to utilize the slorbo channels.
