Average # hrs/days you work

Just curious, how many hrs a day do you all work, how many days a week. I usually do not go over 40 a week more like 30-35 and dont work weekends. How 'bout you?

Every day and week are different for me. I do work weekends when my schedule is full (I worked for 3/4 hour this past Sunday - $200.)

Here at Franklin Window Cleaning we work between 30 - 40 hrs a week like yourself but I will work on a Saturday for some of my customers that work all week and can not get someone to be at the house

If your talking the actual act of window & gutter cleaning, 6+ hours a day, 5 sometimes 6 days a week. The admin part about 3+ hours a day mon-fri. Every day and week is different, it also depends on the season. Thats one thing about being the owner of a business, it ain’t no 9-5 monday through friday deal.

At this time of the year (and as a one-man-show) I work an average of 6 days a week. Sometimes I’ll go up to 10-11 straight days if folks are desperate. Actual hours (squeegee to glass) range from 2hrs-6hrs a day. Maybe one day a week I’m cleaning windows for up to 8hrs. Average 2-4 hrs a day doing other business duties, e-mails, quotes, flyer/promo design and implementation, phone calls, reading “How To Steal Jobs By Lowballing, In 5 Easy Steps”. Okay, just joking about that last one.

For us it’s 30-40 hrs a week in the field. Of course that doesn’t include paperwork, scheduling, and all the odds and ends stuff that goes w/ running a business.

I work 5 or 6 hours a day, 5 days a week.

Gross around $2500.00 per week

We work 8 hours a day Mon thr Fri. 8 hours almost every Saturday doing whole house soft washes, 2 to 3 homes depending on size.

I end up around 30 hours a week(after 40 hours at the Firehouse).

This time of year I’m working 5 or 6 days (sometimes 7) days a week. Most days are pretty full at 6 or 7 hours, sometimes 8. I love it when I have a short day of 4 or 5 hours and get to go home and kick back.

I love it too however, usually I get home ready to put my feet up and there’s a pile of phone messages and e-mails to get back too. I guess I should only complain when the phone stops ringing, right.

Squeegee or WFP to glass is about 9-10 hours a day 4 days a week, about 6 hours one day a week for estimates and every day about 2-3 hours for office work, invoices and website optimization, computer work. Weekends for marketing and planning out the week and tweaking schedules.

16 -20 hrs per week

we work 8 to 530pm monday through fridays. saturdays start at 9am until whenever. i’m considering starting up a part time night shift from 530 to dark. obviously this is only possible during the late spring and summer months but thats the busiest times anyways. the night shift would be a good time to get small commercial buildings done that just require exterior cleanings.

I have no clue, how many hours are in a week, like 168… well it feels like i’m working in the business for about 30 hrs and on the business for the rest of them with an occasional break for dinner, sleep, or to take a shower. Other than that, I’m almost always working.

x

I’m similiar. 4-6 hours of WC’ing and about 2-4 hours admin/SEO/marketing in the evening. 5 days a week during April-November here in CT.

40-50+ per week this time of year, plus whatever phone calling has to be done in between. It’s a killer when you’ve got so many other obligations, but as they say, better than being out of work!
