Are banks a general good source of income worth chasing to do their windows. Is it typically one guy who deals with each bank or a kind area manager decision whereby they would take a bid for a certain number they have.
How many of you do banks and car dealerships, larger offices etc commercial wise. Do banks tend to have their windows cleaned monthly?
I was thinking by hitting a few more commercial accounts and going after the bigger commercial accounts whereby generating a higher return each month or so.
I wouldn’t bother. The decision would be made by a regional manager or at least someone above a branch manager. I worked in the industry for 6 years and never saw anyone cleaning the windows at any of the branches, ever.
I have a bank that I do, but it is a small local bank. There are only 3 or 4 in San Diego and I only do one of them. It was the bank manager that hired me, and she only wants it 2 times a year. Tried to get her to sign a contract but she wasnt going for it. Said she would call when she needed it. She has called tho. They are pretty good money. I charge 550.00 and it only took 2 hours, payed by check after the work was done.
I would say go for the smaller local banks, as the big ones usually do it like other corporate’s do it. They usually do not let the branch’s make their own call.
In my experiance, most banks have a cleaning company that clean the floors, bathrooms, take out the trash and wash the windows all as needed. So when the windows starting to look ugly then the company is responsible to clean them. These companies have someone that will do a $200 for $46.00 COMPLETLY NOT WORTH IT.
Yeah that sounds more like it, im doing an estimate for a credit union place here, first clean (post construction) $2k or so 6 month clean approximately $750 from Bing.com right now until I go see it in the fresh.
Trying to get my hands on some of those dealerships too especially if I’m thinking of throwing them a ton of cash later in the year they can at least use one or more of my services weekly or monthly to gain access to my wallet.
chase the cleaning company not the bank. same as with garages this is one of the times you pay for the managers lunch(cleaning companys) and get them on your side then you can start picking up the work from the cleaning company. saves dealing with the bnks and garages.
I used to do a chain for a company here in DC. It was out only of ground floor every month and in and out of ground floor every 3rd month. Always ground floor.
