I switched and thought they were ok. The guys hated them but it was also the winter and for us we needed a softer rubber.
I love the idea but after we use the ones we have now that it is summer we will likely not reorder. Still in Beta for us

I use them in my Vader/Pickle/Smurf channels and they’re great. Although I strictly use them on route work and mostly for pole work. I love them, one rubber using all 4 sides has lasted me almost a month! Can’t beat that

thanks for the feedback guys. I’m using a 14 pickle on residential. I have used sorbo rubber and soren rubber in them and they both seem to work well. I like the thickness of the sorbo rubber better, but the rubber quality of the soren. I just don’t know anymore… sigh.
I would use them for some commercial work in a 24" channel also.
ProWindowCleaning Mike, why wouldn’t you use them for residential. Is it that you don’t like the wide channels for residential or is the rubber not suitable for residential quality work?
I just don’t use wide body channels on residential work. The rubber is very good quality and affordable too.
If I was gonna be down the cape anytime soon I would make sure I had a few to let you try out.

It’s my favorite rubber for all weather. -20C to hot summer days. Works perfect for me, never leaves lines. Perfect hardness in my opinion. Not too hard, not too soft, and lasts a long time. Fans great even on my 24"er.

Got your sample pack today. Fits in the channel a little further in than the sorbo or soren rubber in second slot. Rubber looks and feels like good quality. Anxious to try it out. I wish they produced it in 36" lengths as less is wasted. Who wants to Start a petition to Barron Rubber co. to produce 36 "length rubber.
Enjoy! I bet you’ll like them, it’s a great rubber

Um they already do produce it in 36" lengths
my bad. petition revoked.
…time for my reading glasses
The rubber itself was fine, I didn’t like how they fit in the channel because they are wider they could only slide into one slot on the Sorbo channels

Oh yeah, they work great!
Hi All,
Here in Melbourne (Australia) Baron is widely used. I myself use it currently too. I have found the rubber to be fine up to 24" squeegees. I’ve tried Baron on a 30" & 36". For my preference, the rubber feels too stiff/rigid at 30"+. So I’ve stuck to the sorbo rubber for 30" and above, but Baron for 24" down.

I see what you mean, Brian. I’m a 2nd slot user myself. Wish they could make a thinner version for the 2nd slot. They should be slighlty cheaper since it would require less rubber, right?
Brian_C hi, just curious about the second slot, does it feel smoother on the glass? Or something else. Maybe I should experiment.

the higher slot gives youmore rubber on the glass and makes a big difference especially when poling
Brian_C CapeCodCleaner i gave the 2nd slot a try on my 36" sorbo, it felt great!! Thanks for the tip.
