I’ve started taking pics as i do a job with before and after shots of key areas. I’ve done this with two homeowners and they love it. They are already wowing at how their windows look but when i show them the pics they are even more amazed. I think im going to continue doing this as i think it makes an even better impression and really shows the customer they got their money’s worth. Today’s customer appreciated when i showed her things she would never have seen.
She also had the cool idea of sending the customer those pics again months later when you remind them to schedule another cleaning (which she compared to getting your dental appointment reminder).

I am also doing the after pics as well. Kind of a portfolio for possible customers to look through. Are you getting any luck using this to land new customers?

Do you think customers are going to want to look through your portfolio before hiring you?

I would suggest taking inside pictures too. when I cleaned my windows I could only tell they were clean when it was night time when the inside was brighter than the outside, of course if you did inside pictures the outside will be brighter and you can see clearly.

It’s new for me, but I’ve already been using it this way. So far, it’s worked. New potentials went from interested to “wow” especially when they see conditions similar to theirs and the results i was able to achieve. For sure you should read the person. If they just wanna get their estimate quick and get you out, it’s proly better to not show the pics. But I’ve been really trying to engage new customers and befriend them on the first visit. Of course, you could always ask too. It only takes a moment anyway.
An added benefit is you can use these pics for your website, Facebook, or ads.
Will definitely continue testing this method.

Maybe it would be cool if you set up a tripod and take the exact same shot before and after and crop them into each other. Have a thin line running through so they dont have to flip back and forth?
