Im looking for a new belt and cant find one that will hold up. I have used the unger and a few other brands and they just fall apart or the clips wears out. The biggest problem I have been having is the weight from my pouch and boab keeps pulling my belt loose. The one I have now is yellow in color and it worked pretty good but now is doing the same as the others. Can someone recommend a belt please.
Go to sears and buy the craftsman leather belt, works great.

I use a leather contractor belt with a BOAB on the left, a double-hammer-loop tool pouch on the right, and a small spare towel bag on the rear for all my belts. I bought four identical rigs/set-ups for the truck. They are all the same so no-one gets left out with the crappy belt. The only difference is my tool belt–it has “Boss Man” written on the inside of the belt to identify whose belt it is. That also reminds the crews that I can do everything they do, but better sometimes. Just a reminder that’s all.
I’m ashamed to admit that the Sörbo belt is my favorite. I used to use the older model Unger belts (more pliable than the product they’ve sold the past few years.)
I’ve been rolling with a Winspray belt for a long time now. Comfy stuff.
I was looking for a new belt a while back ago… had the same problems you were having. I wanted one that had a buckle, not the plastic snap together belts.
I thought I was buying an old mans belt, because it’s padded and has hooks for suspenders. I don’t care about it being an old man belt anymore! It’s comfortable, and the hooks for suspenders are perfect to hang things on. This belt is great, and is well worth the money.
That’s right friends Micah is rockin the mistersqueegee belt!
I KNEW it was an old man’s belt!
I choose a similar one a few months ago, got tired of the crappy snap clips.
I think it was called here “old man” belt I like it so far, had to wash it yesterday because all the sweating leaves a white residue (salt) that’s really stiff when it dries, and doesn’t look good either.
I went through a lot of the fabric type belts with plastic buckles that didn’t last. I searched around my area for a nice black leather belt that suited me but couldn’t find one.
I finally found one online that is made by Greenlee. It’s a two inch wide belt with a heavy duty buckle (with roller) and has turned out to be just what I need. It cost a little more but it’s been worth it to have a really good belt.
Just do a search for Greenlee tool belts and you should be able to find one.

Custom LeatherCraft 5 In. Wide Padded Comfort Belt - 5625 at The Home Depot
Pretty affordable, way more comfortable than past leather belts that I’ve had cause those things always dig into my sides and I just can’t wear one for more than an hour or so without gettin cranky. especially when I gotta take a ****.
I use contractors bags from home depot by Husky. Its got a belt with a velcro belt underneath it. Comfortable, looks good, and holds everything I need. Costed 30 bucks at holmes depot.
Lowes contractor belts here. Have a leather hole puncher too for the skinny guys.
Hey Micah,
Your comment caught my attention so I went to Lowes and got one. My sorbo belt is now in the trash, it was old and the new one is much better. Your right Micah, if your young it’s a nice belt to have, but if your older, like me, you really need to have one.
Thanks for the tip.
