Same, I try not to take on bs work. I find I’m most profitable (and happiest) sticking to just windows. Not deep cleaning sills or tracks, or doing other random work.
Someone wanted me to clean trim, nope. This municipal building I have next week wanted me to deep clean the sills. “I noticed your estimate doesn’t include deep sill / track cleaning and my director was wondering if we could get a separate quote for that.” Nope, I told them we don’t offer that service, it’s more of a janitorial service, we stick to windows." similar like Chris said.
Sure I could send a separate quote for that but I’d have to spend another day just cleaning the tracks, and I don’t want to clean tracks or spend another day. Plus you know how dirty they are since it’s a commercial building that probably NEVER had that type of service done.
We did ask but nope, eventually we did get a discount cause we bought an ounce. Man, it was a lot of weed lol
